Davido and Peter Obi were spotted together at the 86th birthday party of Theophilus Danjuma, the former minister of defence.
Danjuma, the former chief of army staff, hosted dignitaries for his birthday party on Saturday.
The Afrobeats star and the Labour Party presidential candidate during the 2023 election were among the guests at the star-studded event.
In a now-viral clip, the singer was seen engaging in a conversation with the politician; with smiles etched on their faces.
The former Anambra governor was also seen putting his hand on Davido’s shoulder as they both posed for pictures with other attendees at the party.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos governor, was among the state executives who attended the prayer session held at Danjuma’s home.
Congratulating the elder statesman, Agbu Kefas, Taraba governor, described Danjuma as a “national treasure and hero in our state”.
He also prayed for “God’s grace with long life and good health” for the Taraba-born retired military officer.
“Yesterday, I joined friends and families in a prayer session for Gen. TY Danjuma (Rtd.), to celebrate his 86th Birthday Anniversary. It was a great moment to have my Brother and the Governor of Lagos State, H.E. @jidesanwoolu, grace the occasion. We pray that God continue to grant the Celebrant more years in good health. Amen,” he wrote on X.
