In a now-viral video, the musician could be seen performing ‘Power Rangers’, her hit song, at the yet-to-be-identified event.

Fans and music lovers at the show were still cheering the ‘Hustle’ crooner when violence broke out.

Amid the pandemonium, fans were seen trying to exit the hall while Teni was being led to the back of the stage by some officials.

The incident has continued to elicit reactions on social media platforms, with fans expressing concerns over the singer’s safety.

Speaking about the incident on Monday afternoon, Teni shared a video in which she said she had “fled” — without providing details.

“Myself and the entire team are safe and back home now,” she added on Instastory.

Since her incursion into the music scene, Teni has continued to pull the weight of fame with her style of music.

The talented vocalist started to gain prominence after she put out her single ‘Fargin’ in September 2017.

She finally had her big break after releasing hit singles such as ‘Askamaya’, ‘Case’, and ‘Uyo Meyo’ in 2018.
