Bidemi Olaoba, the Nigerian gospel singer, on September 1, thrilled the crowd at his much-anticipated ‘In His Presence’ concert in Lagos.
The five-hour concert at the Onikan Stadium was a spiritual extravaganza featuring prominent entertainers including Frank Edwards, Ebuka Songs, Tope Alabi, Dunsin Oyekan, and Oladosu Twins.
The programme commenced with the Oladosu Twins leading an atmosphere of worship, followed by Ebuka Songs’ inspiring performances of hit songs like ‘I Will Pray’ and ‘Fine Boy Wey Love Jesus’.
Edwards then delivered a soul-stirring rendition of ‘Emmanuel’ with the crowd singing with him before the host Olaoba took over the stage.
Clad in all-white attire with his name inscribed, Olaoba enthralled the audience with his hit songs including ‘The Bible Says’ and ‘Give Me Chance.’
The hitmaker also entertained the concertgoers with choreography alongside his backup singers.
“We are shutting down Onikan Stadium on Sunday. It promises to be a glorious time in the presence of God. The Bible says in the day of His power, the people shall be willing. We are trusting God for the outpouring of His presence,” Olaoba had earlier promised.
Daniel Olawande, the founder of The Envoy, and Femi Lazarus, the lead pastor at Sphere of Light Church Global, also ministered at the event.
Lazarus, during his ministration, prayed for the attendees to “receive their mantles of greatness”.

Olaoba recently joined Grace and Truth Nation Music, a record label co-founded by Blessed Uzochikwa and Mercy Chinwo, his wife who is a gospel singer.
