VeryDarkMan, the activist, has expressed gratitude to Don Jazzy, CEO of Mavin Records, for a substantial personal donation.
The activist who recently visited the music executive took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to reveal that he gifted him a substantial “crazy amount of money”.
Although he did not divulge the amount, VeryDarkMan said the money surpassed anything he had ever received.
“I stayed in Lagos after the Falana case because I wanted to appreciate Don Jazzy personally for donating to my NGO,” he said.
“Yesterday, I was at his place for the appreciation but while I was there, a number kept calling me on Snapchat. When I picked, the person told me she was being harassed by the police so I had to reach out to the police to assist her.
“After the call, Don Jazzy looked surprised and asked if that is how I get disturbed to settle matters and I told him yes.
“While at it, I got his message asking for my personal account details. When I sent it, he sent me a crazy amount of money. This is the money that has never been in my account ever in my life.
“Then Don Jazzy said the money he sent was mine not for the NGO. I know he won’t like that I’m publicising this so I will not disclose the amount. However, I do care because I like to appreciate people who are deserving. So shout out to you Don Jazzy.”
The gesture came after Don Jazzy’s initial donation of N100 million to VeryDarkMan’s non-governmental organization (NGO) in October.
