D’Banj, Banky W, and John Legend are among the artistes with the most played songs on Spotify during the 2023 Valentine’s season.

According to new data from the streaming giants, Legend’s ‘All Of Me‘ is the favourite love song in Nigeria and number one globally.

“From first dates to Tiktoks and proposals, ‘All Of Me’ has been a global lovers’ favourite since its release,” the music company said in a statement.

“According to Spotify’s data, Nigerians have a strong appreciation for John Legend’s soulful lyrics, as this is not his only appearance on the list. He also shares a top 10 position with Meghan Trainor on her song, ‘Like I’m Gonna Lose You’.

The statement added that D’Banj’s ‘Fall In Love’ is one of the favourite love songs for Nigerians.

The song, according to Spotify, is followed by another decade-old classic track titled Yes/No by Banky W.

Other Nigerian songs to make the list are Runtown’s ‘Mad Over You and Simi’s Joromi’.
