In the past couple of days, series of protests have taken place in several Nigerian universities.
As the dust was yet to settle on the violent protest by students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, undergraduates of another higher institution staged protests over money-related issues.
Students of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) on Thursday protested in four campuses of the university: in Osogbo, Ikire, Ejigbo and Okuku.
The undergraduates protested against the late registration fee of N10,000 which was imposed on students who failed to pay school fees within the specified time-frame.
Students shut down academic activities in the Osogbo campus in a bid to hold the school management to ransom while their colleagues in other campuses simply protested against the fee.

Hm, not all hands are equal. The school too should consider people that can’t pay within the stipulated time.
The fee imposed on late registration alone is difficult for some parents to provide.
