In the letter dated June, the BCL was also invited to endorse the document for the execution of the agreement.

“I am glad to inform you that the proposed memorandum of understanding between ULBS and BCL has finally been approved by the University Senate,” the letter read.

Apart from the aforelisted, the initiative will also offer certifications in other entrepreneurial programmes for business executives.

In a chat with TheCable Lifestyle, the BCL CEO said: “This is a wonderful development for those seeking certificated programs from a reputable tertiary institution like the University of Lagos in Nigeria.

“An example is the opportunity this would afford a graduate of computer science or banking & finance from any institution, who now major in the business of fashion, make-up, music or entertainment.

“[They can] apply for any of the executive programmes and be so certificated by the University of Lagos Business School, after successful completion of the executive program.”
