Through a post on their Facebook page, the couple announced the arrival of their newborn.

In an interview with CNN, Reese and Chaplow said they were delighted to “welcome” the baby boy.

“We are so lucky to have been able to welcome him into our lives and cannot wait to see who he grows up to be,” they said.

Chaplow and Reese are already adoptive parents to two young children Riley and Hailey.

The children are Biff’s niece and nephew and the gay dads agreed to take them in after his sister suffered substance abuse problems in 2011.

The couple had always desired to have a baby of their own but their first attempt in 2016 ended in heartbreak.

Reese suffered a miscarriage at six weeks and they had to wait for the doctors’ approval before trying again.
