Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor, is playing the role of Peter Obi, Nigerian presidential candidate, in a new satirical film.
The film star put out a trailer for the movie titled ‘Peter Obi’ in which he teased scenes where he does an exaggerated imitation of the former Anambra governor’s voice.
The movie focuses on the life of the ex-governor who has come under criticism for his prudence in his quest to rule.

Peter Obi is contesting in the 2023 presidential election to hold on February 25.
He is vying against Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) among others.
The ex-governor has received massive support from local entertainers.
Psquare, the music duo, had in June 2022 declared their support for the LP presidential candidate.
Paul Okoye described Obi as the “most qualified” while urging people to vote for him in the forthcoming election.
Frederick Leonard and Zubby Micheal, the Nollywood actors, also backed Obi up for the presidency.
Charly Boy, the veteran musician, endorsed Obi as his presidential candidate for 2023.
“Hummmm, finally on Kakaki today, I publicly endorsed Peter Obi. Before dis month runs out I would stage the biggest rally ever. Who’s with me on the rally?” he wrote.
