Nollywood is set to bury one of its own, Toyin Majekodunmi, who died on Monday, January 2, 2017.

Mama Kike, as she was popularly known, will be buried on Thursday and Friday, March 2-3.

The Yoruba arm of the movie industry, to this effect, has set up a committee to oversee the burial arrangement.

Members of the committee include colleagues of the late actress.

They are; Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), Taiwo Oduola ( Alabon), Taiwo Akinwande ( Wunmi), Wale Hassan (Iya Awero son), Toyosi Adesanya, Sola Kosoko, Kike Majekodunmi, Yomi Fabiyi,  Dotun Emmanuel (Ayoka),  Keji Yusuf, Shina Bankole and Debo Alexander (Gov, Tampan Lagos).

The burial committee will be chaired by Yomi Fabiyi, a movie producer.

Majekodunmi died “after a brief battle with diabetes” at the age of 60 and was married to Solomon Majekodunmi, another veteran actor, popularly known as ‘baba kekere’.
