Toyin Lawani expecting second child with husband

Toyin Lawani, the Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, has announced she is expecting her second child with Segun Wealth, her husband. 

The fashionista broke the news in an Instagram post on Monday to mark this year’s Valentine’s Day.

In the post, Lawani chronicled how her marriage to the photographer has fared since he engaged her on February 14, 2021.

The entrepreneur said she is “not shy” to say she’s already pregnant for their second child.

“Last Valentine’s Day @segun_wealth proposed to me to be his wife , fast forward to this Valentine’s Day @kingtinukeleora joined us. I’m not even shy about it, I’m already pregnant for our second baby,” she wrote.

Lawani and Wealth tied the knot in June last year and welcomed their first child together in August.

The entrepreneur had once recounted how she almost removed her womb while battling fibroids.

She also narrated the pains and multiple surgeries she had to undergo in Nigeria, United States, and Dubai amid her quest for childbirth.

“I found I had Fibriods when I was 23, while pregnant for my first daughter @therealtiannah, it was hell for me. I bled for 9 months straight. Always thinking Ayenshemi,” she had said.

“No, where they didn’t carry me o, no herbs they didn’t give me. With time figured it out. I’m 38 and still dealing with it. I’ve had at least 5 surgeries over the years in Nigeria, UK, Dubai, USA.”
