Tope Alabi and Mercy Chinwo were part of the 30 celebrities that led worshippers at Trinity House’s 24-Hour Praise concert.

The event, which is in its fourth year, was themed ‘Power of Praise’.

Other artistes at the concert were Frank Edwards Kleb, Debbi Olatunji, Omowale John, Alabba, Ibitayo Jeje, Big Bolaji, BJ Sax and Deborah Adebola Fasoyin, who performed alongside the Good Women Choir.

Addressing the crowd, Tope Alabi said the popular ‘Shaku Shaku‘ dance can be found in the bible.

According to the singer, the dance was first performed by biblical David adding that the dance should be called ‘Segun Segun‘ (dance of victory and not ‘Shaku Shaku‘ (remnants and wastes).
