Tony Elumelu, the chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), has responded to an X user who playfully asked to be adopted by him.
The conversation began when the X user identified as Stacy tweeted a question on the microblogging platform, asking, “At your age, what is the perfect gift?”
In response, another user Banana humorously replied, “Adoption documents to Tony Elumelu’s family”.
Amused by the request, Elumelu reacted with a lighthearted reply, considering his already large family.
“Looool. With 7 children, can I add more?” he wrote, leaving it unclear whether he was open to the idea or simply joking.
