After emerging from the shadows to attack actress Tonto Dikeh on Instagram, filmmaker Ada Slim has announced the release of three movies.

The timing of her resurfacing and exchange of words with Dikeh suggests a well-staged social media drama to create awareness for her upcoming projects — but Nollywood fans wouldn’t be complaining.

During the spat with the actress, Slim revealed that although she had been in the wilderness for several years, she was coming back with fresh projects.

The three movies, Kenny’s Divas, Papa Bomboy and How To Play A Player, were written and produced by Slim.

Speaking on one of the flicks, Slim said: “Kenny’s Divas is one movie after my heart. Aside going all out to get my godfather, Pete Edochie to star in the movie, I was awed by the sterling performance each act on the movie delivered and this I can say is what will keep the fans on the edge of their seats all through.

“I’ve been working for a while and not many knew what I was up to but it was indeed a lot of hard work with lots of resources also put to good use by my team. We have three movies shot and ready for the market and they are Kenny’s Divas, Papa Bomboy a comedy and a romantic drama, How To Play A Player.”

Kenny’s Divas stars Pete Edochie, Juliet Ibrahim, Bryan Okwara, Oby Somina Okafor and Ruby Dabbour while Papa Bomboy features Eniola Badmus, Dayo Davies, Ejine Okoroafor, among others.

How To Play A Player stars Alexx Ekubo, Derenle Edun, Nora Roberts, Onyi Alex and Uche Nnanna.

Ada Slim, asides producing the movies, also has a role in each of them.

Although she laid out legitimate grievances against Dikeh when she called her out on social media, it would be hard for Slim to deny that the episode piqued public interest in her, and by effect, on her new projects.
