Tom Cruise, an American actor cum producer, has reportedly poured out his annoyance at crew members who flouted COVID-19 protocols while on set for ‘Mission: Impossible 7’, an action spy film.
According to The Sun UK, the filmmaker erupted after he saw two members of the crew standing less than a metre away from each other at a computer screen on set.
The 58-year-old, who is the lead actor in the upcoming movie, could be heard raging at the crew members in footage obtained by the media outlet.
“If I see you do it again, you’re f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it — and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again,” Cruise warned the crew of over 50 people.
“That’s it. No apologies. We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we’re doing. We are creating thousands of jobs you m*ther f**kers. I don’t ever want to see it again!
“You can tell it to the people who are losing their f**king homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night — the future of this f**king industry!”
The movie, which is currently being filmed in the UK, is scheduled for release in November 2021.
TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how the filming of the project in Italy was halted in February amid surging COVID-19 cases in the country at that time.
