Tiwa Savage, Nigerian multi-award-winning singer, has teased fans about the release of ‘Celia’, her much-awaited album.
The Afropop queen took to her social media page on Thursday to inform her numerous followers to get ready for the project, adding that the forthcoming album is special to her.
“@motownrecords says it’s go time. This body of work is special. Album ‘Celia’ up next. All I need you to do is listen,” she wrote on Instagram.
Born on February 5, 1980, the music star has established herself as one of the prominent figures in the Nigerian music landscape with strings of awards and honorary mentions.
Tiwa has also staged collaborations with several other prominent music stars including on ‘Warriors’, an album by 2Baba, Afrobeats icon.
The 40-year-old singer is expected to feature on ‘A Better Time’, a forthcoming album by Davido, Afropop singer, billed for July.

She had made the headlines on numerous occasions last year over her relationship with Wizkid, after the pair were fond of staging romantic scenes during their individual and collective shows.
In May 2019, she left Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and signed a new deal with Universal Music Group (UMG), an American music company that boasts of artistes like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga.
