Tim Godfrey, the Nigerian gospel singer, and Erica Jones, his wife, have welcomed their first child — a girl — together.
The singer announced the birth of his baby girl via an Instagram post on Saturday evening.
He shared a picture from their maternity shoot while also appreciating God for his “bundle of joy.”
“My Baby and my baby. Thank you Jesus,” he captioned the post.
In another post on Sunday morning, the singer shared a photo of the newborn baby holding firm to his finger.
“Our princess reign has arrived!
Mommy, Daddy and Baby are doing well. Thank you all for your prayers and words of congratulations,” he wrote.
“Thank you Jesus for this blessing🙌🏾 Join us in giving praise to God for our beautiful baby girl.”
Colleagues and fans have taken to the comment section to congratulate the parents on the birth of their first child.
In February 2022, the singer announced his engagement to Erica.
The pair got married in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony.
Tim Godfrey is well known for ‘Nara,’ his hit song, featuring Travis Greene, the international gospel artiste.
He is the founder and owner of the record label Rox Nation and also the founder of Xtreme Crew.
He is also the convener of the annual Fearless Gospel Concert, which hosted international gospel artistes including Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, and Travis Greene.
Godfrey has received numerous awards.
