Odianosen Okojie, husband of Mercy Johnson, Nollywood actress, has announced the arrival of the family’s fourth child — a baby girl.
Okojie took to his social media page to break the good news on Monday evening.
“Every Good and Perfect gift is from God. The wait is finally Over, Please share in Our Joy as we announce the arrival of Our Daughter. Divine-Mercy Ehinomen Okojie,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a slew of pictures of his wife and the newborn.
The arrival of the baby comes few days after the movie star was earlier rumoured to have put to bed, a claim Okojie would later dismiss.
The actress had last year revealed she was pregnant. She had then explained that her desire has always been to have four kids but after the birth of their third child, she thought she had given up on child bearing until she discovered she was carrying another pregnancy.
“I’ve always wanted 4 but, after 3 kids, I thought I had retired from the baby-making business,” she had said.
“So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way. I can’t explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought, or the cravings for food that have followed.”
