TG Omori, the Nigerian music video director, has expressed his interest to collaborate with Austine Emmanuel, the artiste behind the viral ‘You Dey Whine Me’ song.

Emmanuel has become a viral sensation since he put out the indigenous song.

In the less than five-minute track, the fast-rising singer croons about his love for God. He also said nothing will stop him from praising his creator.

The song became popular due to the “Shey you dey whine me?” phrase.

The phrase went viral on TikTok and has been used in memes as well as in skits.

The song has also enjoyed massive reception, with many Nigerians lauding the singer’s creativity.

In a Twitter post on Monday, Omori said he is desperate to meet Emmanuel.

The music director, born ThankGod Omori Jesam, also said he was willing to shoot the visuals for the song.

“I desperately need to meet that guy that sang that shey you Dey whine me song that song deserves a TG Omori video cos what?!!!” he wrote.

Omori has established himself as a household name in the music industry with numerous hit projects.

He has directed music videos for several top artistes including Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Kiss Daniel, Fireboy, and Naira Marley.
