The 14-track album, which was released on Friday, featured familiar names like Jay-Z, her husband; Pharrell, Childish Gambino and Kendrick Lamar amongst others.

The gifted songstress also invited some popular artists and producers from across Africa — including those who rarely get mainstream exposure in the West — to showcase their musical skills.

Among them are Nigerian stars Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, and Tiwa Savage, South Africa’s Moonchild Sanelly and Ghana’s Shatta Wale amongst others.

But it appears music lovers are not too excited with the respective deliveries of Tekno, Mr Eazi, and Yemi Alade on ‘Dont Jealous Me’, a track on the album, and the trio have come in for some stick on social media platforms, especially on Twitter.

Quite a number of social media users are of the opinion that their performances in the song were below par for such an album with far-reaching global audience.

“Why should Tekno and Yemi Alade disgrace me,” a user said
