Augustine Kelechi, Nigerian singer better known as Tekno, says it is impossible for him to stick to a woman because there are several beautiful ladies in the world.

In a series of video clips shared on his Instagram stories on Saturday, the music star said he is usually excited seeing people remain committed in a relationship with a single partner.

The ‘Skeletun’ crooner, however, explained that while it is something that he also craves, reality has shown that he can’t stay committed to just a lady.

“A lot of times, I wonder who is to blame because when I think about it; when I watch a movie or I read a nice story in the novel, it feels good and it seems interesting that a man and a woman spend the rest of their lives together,” he said.

“It kind of makes sense. But in reality, it is just weird because I want to love one person and be with them but it is impossible because the women are so beautiful. There are so many beautiful women everywhere around the world.”

With numerous awards and collaborations, Tekno has continued to pull the strings in the Nigerian music landscape.

He had recently teamed up with Aluna, British singer and songwriter, for ‘Don’t Hit My Line‘, the latter’s latest single.

In 2019, Tekno was interrogated by the Lagos police authorities after his controversial video shoot which involved semi-nude ladies dancing in a transparent truck amid evening traffic.

Although he apologised for the stunt, the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) had vowed to make a scapegoat of him as a deterrent to persons who intend to perpetrate “immorality.”
