In a video shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Tacha appealed to Nigerians to desist from political apathy.

The reality star, who was speaking from the hospital bed, said she will be “actively involved in all levels” of government in the forthcoming election.

“Yes, we’re going into the campaign period in preparation for the general election, and me for one, I will be actively involved in all levels; local government, governorship, house of reps all the way to the presidency,” she said.

“You can’t afford to sit on the fence, Nigeria needs all of us. You go to church and pray for a better Nigeria but you’re supporting a bad leader, have sense because if we get it wrong next year, you will have yourself to blame.

“Now to the message, as you’re campaigning for your leader, I want you to have in mind that Nigerian politicians don’t have a lot to lose. If Nigeria crashes today, they don’t have a lot to lose; their families have dual citizenship, their children can’t relate to Nigerian youths’ plight, they have money in their foreign account, and they can’t know poverty till they die. Insecurity and bad roads don’t affect them, we’re the ones affected.

“My advice no do campaign like do or die because na you go die, politicians no go die. Vote wisely because you’re mostly affected. Me for one as I go dey actively involved, I go drag everyone, no vex. When they send you to come attack me, I go drag you too nobody dey feed me.

“This country must be better because when it becomes better e go favor all of us. Tell your family, friends to have sense. Next year must not be business as usual.”
