STYLE FOCUS: Betty Adewole, the eclectic runway model

Our style focus this week is Betty Adewole, a Nigerian-born British model.

According to the Encyclopedia of Fashion, at the age of 11, Betty and her family were evicted from their flat in London and spent the next two years living in hostels.

Betty was discovered at the age of 15.

The 24-year-old model is known for her editorial and runway work through the IMG Modeling agency in Paris.

Betty has modelled for luxury brands such as Tom Ford, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Issey Miyake and Emanuel Ungaro and has graced the cover of several magazines.
