A big guy with even bigger accomplishments, Bolanle Ninalowo is a strong force in Nollywood whose sphere of influence cuts across the movie industry’s Yoruba and English divides.
Ninalowo is bold and never shies away from taking risks. In 2010, the well-built Lagos-born star left the comfort of his job as an accountant in the United States for his long-horned dream of becoming a Nollywood actor.
Upon arrival and limited opportunities, the 41-year-old poured his all into producing ‘Rebirth’ with little experience. After that failed to launch him to the limelight, he risked it all again with Diesel Music, a record label where he signed a couple of musicians, but that also failed. Then came ‘Picture Perfect’, and he never looked back.
Ninalowo’s appetite for risks extends to his fashion taste. While most hunky men struggle to get their fashion techniques right, the award-winning actor remains on top of his game — from rocking a three-piece suit with his bulky biceps hugging the fabric seductively to donning a silky shirt with his broad chest adding grace to the outfit and then pilling up in thripple fold Agbada that sits elegantly on his thick shoulders.
For a man who appears to be redefining “masculinity” in its rawest sense, Ninalowo has continued to put out elegant appearances in almost all attires — an eye candy whose deliciousness never diminishes.
