As part of the Union Bank centenary celebration, three people can win a total of N4.5 million to kickstart their business ideas.

Entries, which will close on Friday, May 19, invites software developers, university students and entrepreneurs to submit proposals for innovative ideas.

“The three best ideas from the challenge will be supported to bring their ideas to life through the CcHub incubation programme from June to December, 2017,” the bank said in a statement.

“The winners get cash prizes of N2 million, N1.5 million and N1 million respectively towards execution.

“Aligned with three strategic pillars identified by Union bank, the challenge focuses on addressing the SDGs-specifically agriculture, education and financial inclusion.”

Entries, either documents or videos, must be submitted online on www.unionbank100/challenge.

“All submissions must include a full description of the project/product/concept in a document written in plain English and up to a maximum of 1,000 words.”

Union bank, which was established in 1917 and listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange is one of Nigeria’s oldest banks.
