Love remains the dominant topic in Dr. Alams’ discography. His sometimes breathy voice is bound to swirl even the most stubborn girl into his arms.

Lyrically, Dr. Alams switches between English and Pidgin while creating his songs. His gradual sonic growth is in his five extended plays released so far.

Speaking on his foray into music, the fast-rising singer said his medical background has been instrumental to his songwriting prowess.

“Combining Medicine and Music has been hectic in some ways and easy in others. The hectic part is bringing out the time to record music, plan and shoot music videos, organize distribution and promotional campaigns,” he told TheCable Lifestyle.

“However, being a doctor provides you with a unique insight into songwriting. You understand the pain and a lot of other human emotions and can tell stories in music even from the perspective of others.”

Dr. Alams is poised to take the global music industry by storm.

When asked about artistes he would love to collaborate with, he said: “I look forward to working with Flavour, Davido and Olamide.”
