Orgasm gets better with age

Like fine wine, orgasms get better with age.

“Orgasm becomes easier with age,” according to Debby Herbenick, a research scientist at Indiana University.

“As an example, while 61 percent of women ages 18 to 24 experienced orgasm the last time they had sex, 65 percent of women in their 30s did and about 70 percent of women in their 40s and 50s did.”

Relieves pain

Orgasms can relieve physical pain.

If you have a headache, you should consider having sex. Past research indicates that mere thinking about sex can help relieve pain.

“There is some evidence that orgasms can relieve all kinds of pain—including pain from arthritis, pain after surgery and even pain during childbirth,” said Lisa Stern, a nurse practitioner who works with Planned Parenthood.

“The mechanism is largely due to the body’s release of a chemical called oxytocin during orgasm. Oxytocin facilitates bonding, relaxation and other positive emotional states.”

Condoms don’t affect quality of orgasms

For women, condoms don’t affect the quality of orgasms.

Although the sensations of going skin-on-skin are enjoyed by both parties, a woman will still reach orgasm the same way when a man is using a condom — as long as he is doing the right things.

Finding your G-spot increases chances of orgasm

The ‘G’ in G-spot is a nod to Ernst Gräfenberg, a German gynaecologist who is credited with discovering it in the 1950s.

This area of female genitalia said to contain a large number of nerve endings which is the key to helping women achieve longer and stronger orgasms.
