A woman’s body is such a sensitive topic to broach. Anything said for or against is taken into the highest consideration. It can either make or mar her confidence in the relationship and later in her life. It could even go ahead to mar the relationship, as she would be of the opinion that you do not appreciate her outlook or you would rather more, even though you mean well. Yes, women are that sensitive about their body on a certain level that would never be understood. Surveys show a high level of bodily change since the history of time.

Now as much as you want to tell her the truth about how you really feel as you both operate an honest relationship (I’m assuming), you might want to think about it first before you do and make sure she is ready to accept your opinion in good faith and as a sign that you care enough to let her know.

For her to be on a diet already, it means you have scaled the initial stage above successfully. Even if not, she is adhering to your concern so that is good.

As to how to deal with it, encourage her and let her know you are there when she is feeling the pain and also assure her that the end result will be worth it and she should persevere.

Going through a diet process comes with pain. In fact, everything good in life comes with a little pain first. And this will also happen if she is accompanying her weight loss routing with exercise such as aerobics.

Do this while letting her know the importance and also make sure she keeps to the right diet as starvation isn’t part of the plan. She might be too into it to resort to that option.

However, if this is the option she picked please help her desist from it and get her a non-fattening diet to work with, letting her know the importance of these food and how it can help keep her healthy while she is on her weight loss journey. There are a lot of online vendors who engage in such with samples of appropriate foods to help sustain that fat burn.

However, if she is doing all of this and yet the pain persists, please seek medical attention, as the problem might actually be more than what is being purported. Anorexia is a serious case and you wouldn’t want your girlfriend compounding her problem into that simply because you or her wants to see her look well. Her appearance shouldn’t be to her detriment.

Most of all always let her know/remind her that you love and appreciate her body and the way she looks regardless and her changing doesn’t change that and that you’re open to whenever she wants to call it quits.
