Seyi, son of President Bola Tinubu, has assured Toyin Abraham, the actress, of his loyalty to her.
In a recent video making rounds on social media, Seyi and Abraham met at the birthday party of Charles Odii.
In the footage, Seyi raised his hands above his head while praising Abraham for being the “best movie director” in the country.
The president’s son also told the actress that he is loyal to her just as she is to his dad.
“My movie director, I am loyal ma. The way you are loyal to Baba, I am loyal to you too,” he said.
Responding to Seyi, Abraham playfully said she wants to “disown” him because “I love you too much and you are a good person”.
During the 2023 elections, Abraham openly supported Tinubu who ran for president under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I love Asiwaju and I am speaking for myself. I love him and I will vote for him because of the things he has done for my industry,” she said.
Her choice of candidate, however, led to criticism and backlash from some Nigerians on social media.
In her defence, the actress said she did not receive “any money” to support Tinubu.
On May 29, 2023, Tinubu was sworn in as the 16th president of Nigeria.
Following the president’s inauguration ceremony, Abraham wrote an open letter reaffirming her support for him.
