Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos state, has gifted Lanre Hassan, ace actress better known as Iya Awero, a three-bedroom flat.
Jubril Gawat, the governor’s aide on new media, broke the news in a series of tweets on Wednesday.
The governor had earlier in the day commissioned the LagosHoms 2B Housing Scheme — now known as Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate — in Igbogbo axis of Ikorodu.
According to Gawat, the newly commissioned estate has 360 home units with 120 one-bedroom, 120 two-bedroom, and 120 three-bedroom flats.

In her remark, the movie star appreciated the governor’s gesture while commending his efforts to reposition the state.
The development comes as the governor also gifted Ikuseyi and Iyabo Elusakin a three-bedroom flat each for emerging principal of the year and teacher of the year respectively.
