Samklef, a producer-cum-singer, has said that Nigeria wasn’t created to work.
The artiste, in a tweet, said security agencies are pained to see young people succeed.
“Nigeria was not created to work that’s why it pains the security agencies to see young people succeed,” the tweet, which didn’t give any context, read.
In response, a Twitter user criticized Saklef’s comment writing, “Make una stop to talk every nonsense wey come una head. Nigeria was not created to work? What was it created for? To fail?

“Mtcheew! Anybody wey travel out of Nigeria go begin feel like say they don arrive and can castigate Nigeria anyhow, what have u done to better her.”
In another tweet, a fan added: “Many people fail to detect this ’cause their eyes are closed. I pray one day everyone’s eyes open. But only those who have bigger dreams will understand.”
Samklef, whose real name is Samuel Oguachuba, had earlier made headlines after he called out Dolapo Badmos, a spokesperson for zone 2 police command, over the state of the police barracks.
At the time, Samklef said security operatives living in such harsh conditions should not be expected to properly secure lives and properties.
