WATCH: Samklef releases his first song on Akon’s record label

Producer-singer Samklef has released his first single since getting signed to Akon‘s Konlive music company. 

Shortly after penning the deal, the artiste who produced Wizkid’s first album had said it came at a good time because many had “told me to my face that my career was dead.

“I realised it was not about how people saw me but the perception I had of myself. So far, I have been trying to stay relevant. Consistency is the key.”

‘Philo’, his first single in over a year, was produced by Samklef who also has credits as a music video director.
