The singer cum movie star, real name Olurotimi Akinosho, made this revelation on ‘For The Record’, a show anchored by DJ Abass, a Nigerian disc jockey.

Rotimi, who debuted his career as an actor with a leading role in ‘Boss’, a US political television serial, said his father also provided him with financial advice when he got his first acting job.

“I made six figures from that deal (Boss). He only gave me 25 or 20 thousand out of it to live off. He saved and invested the rest,” he recounted.

The talented actor, who starred as Andre Coleman in the ongoing series, added that he recently spent out of the proceeds in order to buy his house.

“So I have been sitting on a certain amount of money for five to six years that I haven’t even touched. The first time I touched that money was to buy my house,” he said.
