Olanrewaju Saheed Aranmolate, the baby daddy to Ronke Odusanya, has apologised to the Nollywood actress for demanding a DNA test of Oluwafifehunmi, their daughter.
In August 2019, Ronke and the entrepreneur, who is better known as Jago, had their first child together.
The pair have been at loggerheads since the relationship reportedly hit the rocks last year.
Ronke and Jago have also been in a heated legal tussle for the custody of their child.
In February 2021, Jago had pleaded with a court to enable him to conduct a DNA test to determine the paternity of their daughter before continuing with the case.
But in a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday night, the entrepreneur apologised over the DNA test request.
Jago said Oluwafifehunmi is his daughter and that he loves her so much.
According to him, his initial request for a DNA test was due to controversies surrounding the matter at the time.
“I’m using this video to clear the air concerning the DNA request I made at the court,” he said.
“I’m really sorry about that. I want you guys to know that Oluwafifehunmi Aranmolate is my daughter and I love her so much with all my heart.
“It is what happened that made me take the action of requesting for a DNA test. I’m really sorry for requesting the DNA test from the court.”
