Rihanna, the award-winning singer, is expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky, her rapper boyfriend.
The songstress took the stage for the Super Bowl 57 halftime show on Sunday night and showed off a visible baby bump.
Rihanna started the iconic event by hovering high above the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
She also delivered electrifying performances of her songs such as ‘We Found Love,’ ‘Where Have You Been,’ ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Work.’
Clad in a half-zipped bright red baggy jumpsuit, the event marked Rihanna’s first live performance in seven years and her first as a mother.
A representative for the singer also told The Hollywood Reporter that she is expecting another child shortly after her explosive performance.
Rihanna had earlier said she was unsure whether she would be performing at the event.
“I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,’” she said.
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything.
“And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child together in May 2022.
