Rema, Mavin Record’s newly signed artiste; Wizkid; and Simi have been included in the lineup of music artistes to perform at the 2019 edition of Homecoming festival to hold in Lagos.

Homecoming is a cultural exchange of fashion, music and sporting activities aimed at showcasing the creativity of young Nigerians alongside their international counterparts.

Asides the aforementioned artists, the festival would also feature performances from Teniola Apata, Runtown, Skepta, Naira Maley; Sho Madjozi, South African rapper; DRB LasGidi music group, PrettyBoyDO and many others.

Renowned for its unique performances across genres from the African continent, the event is scheduled to hold over the Easter weekend from April 19 to 22, at Harbour point in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Beginning with a fashion pop to be held across the three days of the event, renowned brands like Kenneth Ize and Vivendi would be present alongside their international counterparts like Nike Places+Faces, offering a limited edition of products.

A jersey workshop, Football Cup and skate jam would also follow, after which the festival would end with a concert dubbed ‘The Homecoming Live Show’ to mark the end of the Easter weekend.

Although tickets to the event are already available for purchase online, the lineup for Homecoming Live Show is continuously on the increase as more Nigerian and international artists join the wagon.
