Rema, the Nigerian singer, has featured Selena Gomez, the American songstress, on the remix of ‘Calm Down’, his hit single.

The track is scheduled for release on August 26.

Gomez announced her collaboration with the ‘Dumebi’ crooner via a post on her Instagram page on Monday.

The 30-year-old also shared a video of herself singing her verse while a snippet of the song was being played in the background.

“An all new version of @heisrema ‘Calm Down’ is coming out 8-26. So excited for this one,” she wrote.

The announcement comes a few days after Gomez was seen kissing Rema’s cheeks after his performance in the United States.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, has won several awards since he came into the limelight.

He won the ‘Next Rated’ gong in 2019 and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies.

In January 2020, he received the Soundcity MVP Awards for ‘Best New Artist’.

The musician was also nominated alongside Burna Boy and Wizkid in the ‘Best Viewers Choice: International Act’ at the 2020 BET Awards.

Selena Gomez, on the other hand, has established a name for herself in the international music space, with a plethora of awards to her credit.
