Rita Daniels, an actress and mother of Regina Daniels, has denied calling out Chika Ike, fellow movie star, to leave her daughter’s husband.

A video had emerged online on Saturday alleging that Rita warned Ike to stay away from Ned Nwoko, her daughter’s husband.

The video had further alleged that Nwoko and Ike were in a relationship before the former tied the knot with Regina.

But reacting to the claims in a post on her social media page on Sunday, Rita explained that the said video was doctored.

She further countered the allegations by sharing the original version of the clip.

“May God equip us with wisdom knowledge, understanding and common sense of reasoning with the way we judge people. Let God be my judge and judge those that judge me wrongly…. Happy Sunday fam. God bless you all,” she wrote on Instagram.

Nwoko’s marriage to Regina had been the subject of heated controversies in 2019, with many questioning her choice of husband.

In the wake of the backlash that had trailed the union on the basis of the duo’s age difference, Regina had said she couldn’t have married within her age group because she’s very stubborn.

The lovebirds had in June welcomed their first child — a baby boy — together.
