The entertainer attended the premiere of the movie, which is the remake of Nollywood’s 2002 classic ‘Aki Na Ukwa’, in Lagos on Sunday.

Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle at the event, the comedienne recalled that about 20 years ago, she never envisaged that she would be gracing the same screen with Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme.

“My experience from production to post-production was an emotional one, considering the fact that 20 years ago, I was in my parlour watching Aki and Pawpaw,” she said.

“I never knew that years later, I’ll be Real Warri Pikin and will do a remake with them. So, working on this movie was emotional and I can’t wait for the entire piece.”

Real Warri Pikin also reflects on the trend of comedians participating in other aspects of entertainment such as the music and movie industries, saying nothing is “wrong with that.”

“I’m an entertainer, I do everything, either singing, acting, OAP…I entertain people and make them happy. So, if a comedian is delving into music or movie, nothing is wrong with that,” she added.
