Bala Elkana, the command’s spokesman, who confirmed Peters’ detention to TheCable Lifestyle on Sunday, said he is currently undergoing interrogation over Kodak’s death.

“Yes (Peters) is in our custody. He is invited for questioning and investigation is ongoing,” Elkana had said.

The gifted choreographer died on Wednesday while reportedly trying to receive a call on her mobile phone while it was charging.

Peters’ detention has however opened the floodgate of reactions on social media platforms especially Twitter as users have since registered their differing opinions.

“Clarence Peters being investigated for murder, I think it’s wrong for the police to declare the case a murder case when the autopsy is not out yet. In a way, they have tampered with this man reputation, even if he comes out innocent some ppl still won’t believe it, na Naija we Dey,” a Twitter user said.

“Clarence Peters arrested over Kodak’s death. I now know the importance of this prayer my mum always says that may our visitor not die in our house,” another user said.
