A video shared by Tiwa Savage, Nigerian Afropop singer, of three female on-air personalities slandering her off-air, has stirred commotion and set social media abuzz.
The talented songstress shared the leaked video on her Instagram page on Thursday.
In the now-viral video, three female City 105.1 FM OAPs are heard mocking the ’49-99′ crooner’s songwriting skills in the studio. It seems they were unaware the camera was still rolling.
The ladies called her names and also accused her of “singing other people’s songs to blow”.
The award-winning singer, who appeared very unimpressed with their conduct, expressed her chagrin at the women, who, according to her, “should be supporting the female artists in the industry are busy trolling them.”
“Yooo look at the so-called FEMALE gatekeepers #OAP that are supposed to help fellow female artists and shout that female should support each other are seen here abusing female artists not knowing cameras were still rolling. And they wonder why I keep to myself To the ladies in this video hope you keep the same energy when you see me in person #2Seconds,” she wrote.
The video has since sparked a plethora of reactions on social media platforms, especially Twitter, where users are currently registering their opinions.
While a section of users condemned the OAPs for displaying professionalism misconduct at their place of work, others downplayed the severity of their comments, stating it is something everyone is guilty of.
Some users have also questioned how the singer got the video in the first place.
