A video shared by Tiwa Savage, Nigerian Afropop singer, of three female on-air personalities slandering her off-air, has stirred commotion and set social media abuzz.
The talented songstress shared the leaked video on her Instagram page on Thursday.
In the now-viral video, three female City 105.1 FM OAPs are heard mocking the ’49-99′ crooner’s songwriting skills in the studio. It seems they were unaware the camera was still rolling.
The ladies called her names and also accused her of “singing other people’s songs to blow”.
The award-winning singer, who appeared very unimpressed with their conduct, expressed her chagrin at the women, who, according to her, “should be supporting the female artists in the industry are busy trolling them.”
“Yooo look at the so-called FEMALE gatekeepers #OAP that are supposed to help fellow female artists and shout that female should support each other are seen here abusing female artists not knowing cameras were still rolling. And they wonder why I keep to myself To the ladies in this video hope you keep the same energy when you see me in person #2Seconds,” she wrote.

The video has since sparked a plethora of reactions on social media platforms, especially Twitter, where users are currently registering their opinions.
While a section of users condemned the OAPs for displaying professionalism misconduct at their place of work, others downplayed the severity of their comments, stating it is something everyone is guilty of.
Some users have also questioned how the singer got the video in the first place.
“Tiwa Savage has been running this “women are their worst enemies” agenda for over a year now. Reeks of deep-seated insecurities. Not everyone will like you, especially if you’re at the top of your game. Can she just rest?,” asked Ada Nwoke.
“This Tiwa’s gist shaaa. Las las every1 is guilty of this. We all gossip & drag these celebs in our comfort zones even offices. But na who dem catch be thief. They weren’t lucky and so smart. Everybody go dey alright las las but what is wrong is wrong and we all r guilty of it,” a Twitter user said.
“OAPs should be professional enough to keep their personal opinions away from the studio. One of the 3 musketeers at City FM called Tiwa Savage a Fool, even added Yemi Alade too. These same people will be the hosts for “ women support programs “. Tragic,” another user said.
Here is what some Nigerians had to say:

If I were the owner of that City FM I will sack the person who sent that video to Tiwa Savage before the Radio Station even got hold of it this morning. That's pure sabotage and no one should have sabouteurs and traitors working with them!

Tiwa said most of her haters are Women & people were attacking her statement. Seyi Shay indirectly shaded her, Victoria Kimani Slut-Shammed Her & now 3 Female OAPs were caught on Camera Insulting her. Maybe Tiwa was right after all 🤷♂️

Lol some of you that are bashing the OAPs that were caught abusing and hating on Tiwa Savage on radio are also guilty of what they did but there are no mics where you have carried out your gossip and slander.
— 👑 DaddyMo 👑 (@therealdaddymo1) October 11, 2019
same people that bashing wizkid for not having enough lyrics are bashing Tiwa cos she’s got writers?
let me inform you that stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, Justin beiber use writers.
I strongly recommend that artists should get writers, it helps the music generally

“Men can’t just see woman at the top and be happy for them”
“Men hate it when women are succeeding”

Tiwa Savage really leaked a video from over a year ago to prove that women always have to be agreeable to one another and that anything besides that means “women are their worst enemies.”
— Ada Nwoke (@okemzuruoke) October 11, 2019
3 people will be getting sacked today and you know the twist to this, no Media firm would employ them knowing that there were involved in that Tiwa Slandering.

Dear @CITY1051 let me walk you through this crisis with Tiwa Savage and your "OAPs"
1. Be honest and accept that your staff messed up and behaved unprofessionally
2. Fire the 3 of them.
3. Apologise to Tiwa, personally and using the media.

Those 3 bitter female City 105.1 FM OAPs that slandered Tiwa Savage during her visit to their radio station, rushed to take pictures with her, and were all smiles when they saw her.
The people spreading rumours about you, are usually so fake nice to you, and pretend to like you.

I didn't want to put my mouth in this Tiwa Savage matter but it shocks me how Men slander her all over twitter on a daily but suddenly because of ordinary gossip(that everyone does) women hate women??
— 🥀 (@Sleepy_Sapphire) October 11, 2019
So feminists are already relating this MI and VECTOR beef with those oaps hating on tiwa😂🤣… I’m not surprised tho,no bi feminists

Y’all really don’t like Tiwa because instead of just admitting those women were moving mad, at work, you are here writing paragraphs of how women don’t need to like each other.
I guess dear

"WOmeN aRe WomEn's wOrsT enEmieS"
Because female OAPs talked about Tiwa. Y'all need to chill abeg. Everybody must not like Tiwa. People are allowed to talk!!
Stop pushing this stupid narrative abeg
— Ifemelunma (@MoeMuna1) October 11, 2019
It's their opinion but they were silly to air it especially when the mic was on. They need people like Tiwa Savage to keep their station going and this was poor on their part. They have to take this L https://t.co/GtCLBgztxU
— Ovie (@ovie52009) October 11, 2019
Most women will rather support a man than a fellow woman. That is why Nigeria female will never have collaboration on a song.
Tiwa will rather jump on Davido or Wizkid's song than sing with Yemi Alade or Sheyi Shaw. City FM OAPs just confirmed it!
— Bola Kaffy (@kaffybab) October 11, 2019
I dunno man. The OAPs job is to interview Tiwa Savage not to like her as an artist or person. They are not friends. So I don't get the fake outrage and yarns about people being fake.
— Sweet Maffffssss 👹 (@Maffffssss) October 11, 2019
I don’t see what those OAPs did wrong it’s the damn snitch that should pay.
They’re not bound by any law to like Tiwa’s music, and they’re absolutely free to also express that.
I personally stopped liking her music since Kele Kele love does that mean I hate her as a woman?
