Nollywood actress Queeneth Agbor has announced plans to celebrate her upcoming birthday by providing meals for 1,000 inmates at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
The initiative, titled ‘Strength Beyond Walls,’ is scheduled for October 9.
In a statement shared with TheCable Lifestyle, the film star disclosed that the aim of the initiative is to bring hope and show love to those often overlooked by society.
Agbor revealed that the ambitious project was born from a profound moment of divine inspiration.
Having lost her own parents, her initial plan was a quiet visit to an orphanage. The actress, who has featured in countless Nollywood films, however, said her vision expanded dramatically during a moment of prayer.
“I heard clearly: Feed 1,000 inmates. I wondered how possible that would be in this economy,” the statement reads.
“But after praying again, the inspiration came stronger: I will raise people to feed these people, and there is strength beyond walls. That touched me deeply.”
Agbor emphasised that the core mission is to acknowledge the humanity of the inmates.
“These inmates are actually humans. Showing them love on that day will mean something special,” she added.
Through ‘Strength Beyond Walls,’ Agbor hopes to use her platform to inspire kindness and demonstrate that compassion can extend beyond society’s conventional boundaries.
