Whether planned or not, Queen Elizabeth wore matching colours with George Oguntade, Nigeria’s high commissioner, and his wife Modupe, when she hosted them at the Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.

The trio, clad in royal colour purple hue, failed to escape the attention of fashionistas.

Sparing little thought for the significance of the meeting, the internet has fallen head over heels with the coordinated outfits of Her Royal Highness and the Oguntades.

The Oguntades were in sync, clad in stripped Aso-Oke while the Queen donned a demure floral patterned dress worn with black flats.
