In a recent interview on Beat FM, Madi revealed that an individual had attempted to book her for a show, but negotiations fell through.

According to Madi, her management team turned down the offered fee, which was allegedly N19 million.

The singer suggested that the client may have felt disgruntled after failing to book her, leading to the public call-out on X.

Madi also surprised the host by stating that the N19 million fee “might even be a discounted price”.

“I do not really know the details but he reached out to my team. Apparently, the person was not happy that he could not book me. So went on Twitter. I was like ‘hit me up’. Enugu is my people. So, the worst part is that might even be a discount price,” she said.

Born Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, Madi began her career at a young age by performing in school talent shows. She was also in her church choir.
