‘I’m bigger than you’ — Portable hits Vector over perceived diss track

Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has taken a hit at Vector, after mistaking the rapper’s lyrics for a diss targeted at him.

The controversy ensued after Vector released a snippet of his soon-to-be-released track via his Instagram story.

One of the lines in the track read “Lion King no be Zazu” — apparently referring to Zazu the bird in the 1994 Disney animation movie ‘The Lion King’.

However, Portable, known for his trademark song ‘Zazoo Zeh’, called out Vector, accusing the rapper of trying to diss him.

In an Instagram live, the ‘Ogo Forever’ hitmaker claimed he is more popular than the rapper, adding that Vector only needed to reach out to him for a feature so the track would be a hit.

“God is my own pioneer. So nobody should claim he paved the way for me. Vector the Viper know what you are saying. You that we thought we should use as a mentor, now you want to be saying nonsense,” he said.

“The song that you subbed me, don’t you know I am a king? I control the country, streets, area, states, can you control what I control? You dey wine? You blow reach me?

“Are you not a rapper? Instead of you to reach out to me for chorus, you would put a verse on it and it would blow, you are mimicking me. Are you supposed to do that? You blow reach me?”.

Vector is yet to react to Portable’s call-out — as of the time of this report.
