Portable, the controversial Nigerian artiste, has apologised to Saheed Osupa, the ace Fuji singer, for insulting him.
The controversy began when Portable’s song was removed from Apple Music and Spotify due to copyright infringement.
Portable had used a line synonymous with Osupa’s style, leading to Osupa’s team filing a complaint.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker initially called out Osupa, using derogatory terms like “big for nothing,” which sparked backlash on social media.
However, Portable took to Instagram to share footage wherein he apologised to Osupa, blaming his temper for the outburst.
Portable said money was the root of their dispute and could destroy relationships. He explained that he wasn’t aware of the song’s removal until he went to collect royalties, leading to the public feud.

“My fans, I am a hot-tempered person, I have said my mind and it has ended. My fans please forgive me. King Saheed Osupa Oba orin, please do not be offended,” he said.
“It is money that causes a fight, that destroys siblings’ relationship and causes a fight between father and son. It was music money that caused our fight.
“Because it was when I went to collect money for the song that I was told that it has been removed from streaming platforms. Please, my daddy, forgive me and adopt me as your child.”
Osupa is yet to respond to him at the time of this report.
Portable gained fame in December 2021 with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.
However, he has been in the news for various controversial reasons since then.
