PHOTOS: Tears as Rachel Oniga is buried in Lagos

Rachel Oniga, the late Nollywood actress, has been buried in Lagos amid tears.

Oniga breathed her last late July after battling a heart-related disease.

Burial arrangements began on August 23, with a symposium by a coalition of NGOs and friends of the deceased.

Subsequently, a service of songs was held on August 26, at the Catholic Church of Resurrection, Magodo in Lagos.

This was followed by the lying-in-state, which commenced by 9:30 am on Friday.

Oniga was thereafter lowered into her grave in the presence of family and friends.
