Davido has set the Nigerian Twitter-sphere abuzz after lovey-dovey pictures of him with Mya Yafai, American model, surfaced online.
In the now-viral photos, the ‘Jowo’ crooner can be seen in high spirits as he fondly holds the model while kissing her on the lips and cheek.
It was gathered that the award-winning singer and the 22-year-old Instagram model took the photos at a party in the United States.
Ever since it surfaced online, Nigerians have flooded social media platforms — especially Twitter — to express their differing opinions.
While a number of users came to the defense of the singer — claiming the photos might be part of a movie or video for a new song — others tackled Davido for reneging on the “assurance” he promised Chioma.
“Davido can never cheat on Chioma, those pictures are definitely from a movie scene, y’all don’t forget Davido is not only an artiste, he’s an actor too. I can’t wait for the movie to drop, definitely going to be a blockbuster,” a Twitter user said.
“Somebody said Chioma assurance keep turning into endurance what a life,” another user said.
There have also been recent rumours circulating that the pair are in a relationship despite Davido proposing to Chioma Avril Rowland in 2019.
