Obi Cubana has met with Charles Igwe, the vice-chancellor (VC) of the University Of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), to discuss what he described as “giving back” to his alma mater.
On Thursday, Cubana took to his Facebook page to share a slew of photos from his meeting with UNN academics.
“Had a great time yesterday discussing with the vice-chancellor University Of Nigeria Nsukka, Professor Charles A. Igwe and the entire University management and some Heads of Departments of this great institution on how to give back to the University that helped in mounding me into who I am today,” he wrote.
The 46-year-old nightlife promoter, whose real name is Obinna Iyiegbu, had made headlines after a grand funeral event he staged last month in Anambra for his late mother who passed away in December 2020.
At the burial ceremony, prominent figures had turned up to rain naira notes in a display of wealth.
